Who's Knocking?

Door-to-door sales in East Cocalico Township are allowed by permit only.  To obtain a permit all solicitors must provide photo identification, complete a criminal records check, and abide by certain regulations in the Township Code.  Solicitors must also carry their Township-issued permit at all times, and make this available to property owners.

Below is a list of active solicitation permits issued in our community at this time. If someone comes knocking, and that someone isn't on this list, call the Township Building at (717) 336-1720. 

Please note that local government can’t require religious organizations, political candidates and certain non-profits to obtain a permit… as the US Supreme Court has ruled doing so violates free speech. But a property owner always has the final say as to whether any solicitor is allowed on his or her property. So consider posting a “no solicitation” sign on your front lawn, or near the front door, if you want to stop solicitors from interrupting dinner.

• Sunil Patel with Reno Roofing – Active until October 16, 2026
• Edward McAlanis with Lawn Legend LLC – Active until December 23, 2026
• Jasmine Colon and Joshua Colon with JC Family Lawn Care - Active until January 14, 2027
• Kyle Lonaberger and Vince Bruno with Clean Cut Tree & Lawn - Active until March 24, 2027
